Filtering and Navigating the Directory Tree¶
Filter Chips¶
The toolbar above the tree contains three filter chips: Changed, Added, and Same. Each chip toggles the visibility of entries with that status.
- Click a chip to activate or deactivate it.
- Multiple chips can be active at the same time.
- All three active (the default) shows every entry.
- Deactivating a chip hides all entries with that status from the tree.
Tip
Filtering hides individual entries but never collapses directory nodes - the tree structure stays navigable even when most entries are filtered out.
Expand and Collapse¶
The toolbar also contains an Expand all / Collapse all button:
- When all nodes are expanded, the button reads Collapse all. Click it to collapse every directory node at once.
- When any node is collapsed, the button reads Expand all. Click it to expand every directory node at once.
Individual nodes can always be toggled independently by clicking the arrow icon next to a directory name, regardless of the toolbar button state.
