Workspaces Pro

Pro feature

This feature requires a Pro licence. Activate your licence to unlock it.

A workspace saves your entire session - all open tabs, their file paths, and their per-tab settings - so you can restore it in a single click later.

Saving a workspace

  1. Open all the comparison tabs you want to save.
  2. On the home screen or via File → Workspaces, click Save Workspace.
  3. Enter a name and confirm. The workspace is saved immediately.

The workspace captures:

  • All open tab types (file comparison, directory comparison, archive comparison, etc.)
  • Left and right paths for each tab
  • Per-tab settings: selected algorithm, active ignore toggles, active ignore profile

Restoring a workspace

  1. Open the Workspaces panel on the home screen (or via File → Workspaces).
  2. Click Restore next to the workspace name.
  3. All tabs from the workspace open immediately with their saved paths and settings.

Restoring does not close tabs that are already open - it adds the workspace tabs alongside them.

Managing workspaces

  • Rename: click the workspace name to edit it inline.
  • Delete: click the trash icon. This removes the saved workspace; the files themselves are unaffected.
  • Workspaces are stored locally in SharedPreferences and persist across app restarts.

Tip

Workspaces are useful for recurring review tasks - save a workspace for each project or release you regularly check, and open it each time without re-navigating to the files.
